To be honest, UTAR was never my choice back in four year when I first choosing which college or university to enter because whenever I told my peers about UTAR Kampar, they would be like, "Kampar?? You're not joking with me right? It's like a dead town. Think twice, girl." However, due to the reason of distance from my hometown, I chose UTAR.
To look back, it's nearly a total of four years I survived in UTAR and the journey definitely ain't easy. I went through numerous of challenges in these years. Many times I really wished I could quit studying and enter into the working society right away because of the challenges I faced in university life. Nevertheless, friends who came along the way have brought me stronger and encouraged me not to give up so easily. So, from here I would like to thank my friends who came into my life during these years in UTAR, regardless you are still my friend or not, I truly appreciate the friendship we had before and I believe whatever that happened were just a frame of test.
Well, it happens to everyone in UTAR that we have to find group members for assignments. That's how we can make friends, right? But at the same time that's where arguments came along. Yes, we do have disagreements and very often the true self of each our friends will appear. Then, sooner the disagreements ruined the friendship. To me, what I've learned from this was after the disagreements, I get to know my friends better and accept one another as none of us is perfect. Hence, I slowly let the grudges away. Thinking in a positive manner, this is just a baby step to prepare myself before heading out to the real society in the world which could be a thousand times worse.
I am who I am today because of UTAR and the people in UTAR are the strength in making UTAR life more happening. UTAR has taught me not only to excel in academics but also excel in my personal life. Therefore, without UTAR I can't imagine how my life could be right now. UTAR YOUR CHOICE!
